The value for money was excellent, with a warm and comfortable room furnished in a lovely traditional style. The location was tranquil and secluded, providing a peaceful getaway. The hotel manager was helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. We particularly enjoyed the blissful bath each night and the charming little garden area.

Using a knife and fork wasn't ideal.

The location of the cottage is absolutely stunning, with secluded surroundings and breathtaking scenery. the little garden area is a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the tranquility. Plus, the cottage feels homely and inviting, with charming decor that adds to its charm.

Some aspects of the cottage could use improvement, such as the uncomfortable sofa that made it difficult to truly relax. the parking situation can be a bit of a hassle, as other guests tend to take up a lot of space.

It was a cute little cottage with lovely furniture and accessories. Everything was nicely presented and very clean. the photos didn't do justice to how spacious it actually was. the bath was an absolute bliss every night. the cottage was located in a quiet rural area, but still within a short drive to Bamburgh and other nearby attractions. The property manager was incredibly helpful, ensuring our stay was enjoyable. Cons: Nothing for me 😊.

As low-budget travelers, we loved the cozy and traditional furnishings at Rose Cottage. the location was quiet and secluded, perfect for a peaceful getaway. the cottage had everything we needed for convenience, and the little garden area was a lovely touch.

The lack of a spatula for frying eggs. It was a minor inconvenience, but we managed with a knife and fork.

We had a lovely stay at Rose Cottage through Host & Stay. The cottage was warm and comfortable, with nice traditional furnishings. It was well-equipped and had everything we needed for a convenient stay. The added touch of finding a pint of milk in the fridge was much appreciated. The secluded location offered fine scenery, and we enjoyed the charm of the cottage. Despite a few drawbacks mentioned by other guests, such as the uncomfortable sofa and limited parking, they didn't affect our overall enjoyment. we would recommend this hotel for a cozy and relaxing getaway.

The value for money at Rose Cottage was excellent, and the room itself was cozy and comfortable. The location was amazing, with fine scenery right outside our doorstep. The staff were friendly and made us feel right at home.

Menu for breakfast: It would have been nice to have a wider variety of breakfast options.

Couldn't find any faults at all.

Rose Cottage was absolutely mind-blowing! As a young adult, I was super satisfied with my stay here. The cottage itself was nice and comfortable, with clean and spacious rooms that were even bigger than what the photos showed. The rural location was so peaceful and quiet, yet still just a short drive away from all the attractions in the area. The traditional furnishings added a charming touch, and the property manager was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Although there was a small issue with the heating, she quickly arranged for us to move to another cottage that was spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was provided, from free parking to wi-fi, and even a flat-screen TV for entertainment. The kitchen was well-equipped with an electric kettle and cookware, although a spatula for frying eggs would have been a nice addition. All in all, our stay at Rose Cottage was absolutely fantastic, and I would highly recommend it to any young adults looking for a memorable vacation experience.

Warm and comfortable with traditional furnishings, this cottage provided a homely atmosphere. The secluded location offered stunning scenery and a peaceful retreat. A nice touch was finding a pint of milk in the fridge upon arrival, ensuring we could enjoy a coffee right away.

Some aspects of the cottage could use improvement. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, with black mould on the tiles and grubby grout.
